~ The Klerksdorp Spheres
Over the past several decades, South African miners have found hundreds of metallic spheres... Each of these spheres have three precise parallel grooves around its equator, which indicates that they were manufactured. And even if it is conceded that the sphere itself is a limonite concretion, one still must account for the three parallel grooves. In the absence of a satisfactory natural explanation, the evidence is somewhat mysterious, leaving open the possibility that the South African grooved spheres found in a mineral deposit 2.8 billion years old were made by intelligent beings.~ The Antikythera Mechanism
In 1900, Greek sponge drivers discovered an astonishingly intricate mechanism in the waters off the coast of Antikythera, an island near Crete . The Antikythera mechanism was originally housed in a wooden box about the size of a shoebox with dials on the outside and a complex clockwork assembly of gears inscribed and configured to produce solar and lunar positions in synchronization with the calendar year. By rotating a handle on its side, its owner could read on its front and back dials the progressions of the lunar and synodic months over four-year cycles. The device has been estimated to be accurate to 1 part in 40,000. It appears to have been built about 2,000 years ago, but no one is sure where the technology came from…~ The Terracotta Warriors
The Terracotta Warriors are thousands of perfectly preserved life-sized statues of Chinese emperor Ch'in Shi Huangdi; they represent only a small portion of the eight thousand strong underground army buried in front of the Emperor's tomb (221-207 BC) to defend him in the afterlife. The main tomb is still to be excavated... but what has been unearthed so far is quite elaborate.~ The Phaistos Disk
The disk of Phaistos is a very important example of hieroglyphic inscription from Crete and was discovered in 1908 in a small room near the depositories of the "archive chamber", in the north-east apartments of the magnificent Minoan Palace of Phaistos, together with a Linear A tablet and pottery dated to the beginning of the Neo-palatial period (1700- 1600 B.C.). The disk [with hieroglyphic inscriptions carved on both sides] is at least 3,700 years old and has yet to be deciphered...~ The Map of "The Creator"
This seems to be impossible... Scientists of Bashkir State University [Republic of Bashkortostan, Russian Federation] have found indisputable proofs of an ancient highly developed civilization's existence. The mystery in question is about several stone slabs found in 1999, each [weighing about one ton] with a picture of the region done according to an unknown technology. These are actual three-dimensional relief maps... layered in the firmest dolomite [base], diopside glass and calcium porcelain [top]. The map [displaying the Ural Mountain region as well as three identifiable rivers] contains civil engineering works: a system of channels with a length of about 12,000 km, which include weirs [powerful dams]. Not far from the channels, diamond-shaped grounds are shown, whose destination is unknown. The map also contains numerous inscriptions. At first, the scientists thought that it was an Old Chinese language. But it turned out that the inscriptions were done in a hieroglyphic-syllabic language of unknown origin; so far, scientists have not been able to decipher it. (Now here's the impossible part...) The most widely celebrated and mysterious crystal skull is the Mitchell-Hedges Skull, for at least two good reasons: First, it is very similar in form to an actual human skull, even featuring a fitted removable jawbone. Most known crystal skulls are of a more stylized structure, often with unrealistic features and teeth that are simply etched onto a single skull piece. Second, it is impossible to say how the Mitchell-Hedges skull was constructed.
